The AIDS Memorial Quilt

 

Heritage Place of Indianapolis, Inc. is pleased to host “Stories Behind the Quilt” on Monday, December 2, 2:00 PM, in the Common Ground Christian Church,

4550 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, IN

You will have the opportunity to view a panel of the AIDS Memorial Quilt; hear from experts and advocates about the history of this important piece of American Folk Art; firsthand experiences from Quilt makers; the evolution of HIV disease as well as current treatments, medications and prevention campaigns.

In observance of World AIDS Day 2019, you will be moved and inspired by a beautiful Quilt, and the stories and lives behind it.

Light refreshments will be provided, and no reservations are required.
